Corporate Management
Brian K. Sheely – President/CEO
Brian started his career in the temperature controls industry in 1986 when he was hired by Johnson Controls, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio. He spent 2 1/2 years in JCI’s Central Region office, where his duties included providing telephone and onsite technical support services for over 8 branch offices. In early1989, Brian relocated to Lexington, Kentucky to become the area's system representative for the newly opened Lexington Branch Office.
Brian left Johnson Controls after co-founding the company, Sheely & Estes, Inc. in early 1990. This new company was established to service and install electronic and pneumatic temperature control systems. In the same year, Brian secured an exclusive distributorship with Automated Logic Corporation. In early 1992, Sheely & Estes, Inc. was dissolved and Brian started a new company, Sheely Controls, Inc., and continued providing sales, installation, and servicing of Automated Logic’s line of Direct Digital Controls.
Beginning in 1992, Sheely Controls, Inc. operated primarily as a controls reseller and installer enjoying steady growth, which led to a merger with a Louisville HVAC services firm in January of 1999. This new entity became known as InnerSpace Strategies, Inc., whereby it expanded operations to include overall building maintenance and HVAC in addition to its sales, installation, and servicing of temperature controls systems.
In January of 2005, the InnerSpace Strategies, Inc. controls division expanded its business by securing the exclusive distributorship of the Automated Logic product line in western Tennessee, eastern Arkansas, and northern Mississippi. The Mid-South Office is located in Collierville, Tennessee.
Brian has over 20 years Direct Digital control experience and holds certifications from Johnson Controls, Richards-Zeta and Automated Logic. Graduating from Electronic Technology Institute with an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Brian also holds Automated Logic certification in programming engineering, systems integration and engineering, and is a BACnet technical networks engineer.
To date, Brian remains at the helm of InnerSpace Strategies, Inc. guiding the company's growth with a vision and innovative plans for expanding operations to include dovetailed services that augment its core business model.
